In the end I got Mintex discs/ pads. Fitted them today, changed oil, filter and fuel filter, good mornings work.

Bosch are always my first port of call, in any market segment they're in.
Not only are they always excellent quality, and you can rely on the name not being a reboxer's latest purchase, but the company behind them is owned by a humanitarian/educational/development charity, with virtually their entire profits going to helping the world get that little bit better. So… why wouldn't you?

They are often a little dearer but to offset that they often come with parts that cheaper brands do not.
If there are spring clips or pins that get damaged over time they are often included so worth paying that bit

Op, it's coming up time to change them again and tidy up the rear discs as one pad is contacting the disc surface unevenly.
Got a set of Pagid pads on a deal, hopefully a dry day will appear soon.
