Hi
So if they are genuine info about the connection, I would do a 3 ping approach before disconnecting anything.
The Laptop adaptor, your route to your router and finally the wider internet.C:\>ping 127.0.0.1Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0 (0% loss),Minimum = 0ms, Maximum = 0ms, Average = 0msC:\>ping 192.168.1.1Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0 (0% loss),Minimum = 1ms, Maximum = 2ms, Average = 1msC:\>ping 13.107.4.52Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0 (0% loss),Minimum = 10ms, Maximum = 10ms, Average = 10ms
Any specific websites, or times of the day, or turning a kettle on or ???
Depending on the results you post, someone hopefully will be more helpful.Forum, Agin 'em or Just Neutral?0 -
Go into Network Settings and change your wifi adapter status to disabled see if that makes a difference

I have had the laptop connected to the router downstairs all day and have used pretty regular but never got any of those messages the only problem I got was the normal download speed was about 36Mbps but on two occasions it dropped to 15Mbps have now connected it to the adapter upstairs and will let you know if I still get those messages again.Thank's0

I have been using the laptop upstairs this morning which is connected to TP Link adapter and I have had several of those messages again.Took the laptop back downstairs and connected it to the router and no messages and am back upstairs again now fine so far but early day's.0

The tp link adapter you are talking about, is this an extender type device which plugs in to a power socket and then it connects wirelessly to the router downstairs ? Could you describe the setup.
If this is the case they are notoriously unreliable at times. What is probably happening is that the tp link extender is losing its wireless connection with the router downstairs.0 -
The router is downstairs and there is a adapter connected to it. My laptop is in the spare room upstairs and that has a adapter connected to it with a ethernet cable. Both adapters are plugged into wall sockets. Are you suggesting I may need to pair them again..Thank's0
