Joint account

Options
I often think it's an odd relationship whereby spouses keep their finances separate rather than have a joint account into which everything goes in the way of earnings and from which all outgoings are met. Perhaps you should sit down with your husband and explain your dilemma, as it seems he doesn't understand that the extra earnings he makes in overtime ought to go straight into the joint account. It might well be something he hasn't considered, or had time to consider, and having your own individual accounts inevitably means he doesn't know what you have in yours and the pressure it's put on you.
