It is 10:20am on a Friday and the new forum announcement threads are all closed again.

Although I don't understand why they close the threads on evenings and at weekends (after all, we're not all able to come on during the 'normal' working day, and excluding users from being able to join in the discussion - which is surely what a forum is all about - isn't very customer friendly), I did at least appreciate the explanation. But now even that's not the case.

Please, will someone answer Norman's question in this one, rather than keep deleting it without a reply, even if only to say "we don't know"?

Many thanks!

No one can answer any questions in that thread, the thread all forum feedback questions were being directed to, as that thread has been closed permanently.

I still miss the old forum, I think I'm getting used to the new set up then they change it again so it's difficult to find anything.
There are more questions than answers :shhh: :silenced:

When I want to visit the MSE forums, I no longer visit https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/
The second link, which I now use, brings back the old feel of the forums.
But seriously, are MSE trying to drive people away? Can't they handle the work, so they have to chase people away to lighten their workload?

I bookmark to there too. I also bookmark my bookmarks, though. So I rarely go to the main forum. Saying that, I rarely go to any of the boards now.

Whatever Has Happened to This Site?

Another thread closed. MSE are welcome to ignore the posts but aren't we allowed to discus this forum?

Apparently not. And the problem with the feedback form is that we're not being notified of any fixes. Fortunately, I kept copies of all of my feedbacks, in case they're never heard of again.

I can understand the team wanting all feedback to go via their feedback forms, but the problem is that none of the rest of us see what is submitted that way (or even if anybody is using that route). It is clear that the latest changes are unpopular but this locking of anything is as pointless as it gets. They may as well just delete this feedback section - whoops, I suspect they may even do that.

Feedback threads are always closed over the weekend as no staff to check the posts.
they probably are reading them, maybe even considering actioning them but it's slow progress
