Just because the same Morrisons items come from Amazon as they do from the store - there's no way I'd expect the pricing to be the same. Why? Well when you buy from Morrisons directly - it's only Morrisons taking the profit margin. Our friendly giant Amazon isn't a marvellous beneficiary that lists everything for free - so they will no doubt want (quite a significant) cut of the profits on anything sold through its platform.

Therefore, when you are buying Morrisons products from Amazon, you are paying for Morrisons to make a profit AND Amazon to make a profit. No doubt Morrisons margins are slimmer through the deal, but at the end of the day they are both big players - and they both expect their cut of the wedge. It's an option to buy from Amazon if you so wish, as is taking a Morrisons delivery directly, or going into a store. Each has its pros and cons for all of us. You pays your money and takes your choices.

Shall I blow your mind OP?
Many of the M&S items Ocado sell are more expensive than M&S Stores too.

Only used Amazon / Morrisons a couple of times and was quite surprised that items were exactly the same price
as the in store shelf price.I was not expecting the prices to stay the same for long.

I too was pleasantly surprised at first that Morrisons prices online via Amazon were the same as in-store or from the Morrisons web site. However recently I have noticed several items which are more expensive via Amazon.

For example, Mission tortilla wraps were £1 from the Morrisons site but £1.65 from Morrisons via Amazon. That's a big difference.

I suppose, at least Amazon gives no-quibble refunds when the Morrisons frozen food arrives partly thawed. Ha! Every time.
