Letter before Claim from CST Law

I’m just about to prepare our response to the letter before claim. I note there are two versions on the newbie thread depending on whether my husband was driving or not. I’ve looked at the photos that smart parking sent and I’m clearly driving the vehicle into the car park even though correspondence has been sent to my husband. However on the way out of the car park I believe my husband may well have been driving as it was my birthday and I was probably drinking alcohol, although you can only really see a hand on the steering wheel in the photo, so I can’t be sure. Does this alter what letter I use.0

Here is the section that refers to two different responses.

regardless you will still get a court claim0

I just need to know which one to follow as I want to make sure I’ve followed the best procedure0

Whichever is relevant! Is the PPC Smart Parking? If so, send the one about not being the driver if that's true (you can adapt it yourself. You don't have to copy things word for word).
Literally, you can send anything or ignore it because nothing will stop the Claim Form. You WANT that because that's when you win!
You'll be back here when you get the inevitable claim form to defend.
But for now (THIS MONTH) please read this message and do the vital, current Public Consultation:

It's important that the Government hears from people like you with unfair charges who are facing 'scary' court claims.
The link shows the two vital points to concentrate on, IMHO:
- banning 'fee' add-ons completely.
- making sure a new SINGLE appeals service replaces POPLA and the IAS which are seen as not fully independent and involved in a 'race to the bottom'.
Click through to the main thread about the Consultation, Do not be deterred by the fact that some questions are for the parking industry only.
We are currently discussing how to respond. Please join us in doing this Consultation. This is your one chance to make a difference re the proper regulation of private parking.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
