Okay, I have removed that sentence. I haven't filled out Popla appeal yet so no idea about ticking 'driver'.Me and my toddler arrived at The Gateway Shopping Centre, parked our car,
Clearly your toddler wasn't the driver, so why are you putting in writing who was, to a landowner who might well just ping the complaint straight to Smart Parking and ruin your chances of winning at POPLA?
Or have you already ruined your 100% win as registered keeper in your earlier appeal by ticking or choosing 'driver' on the Smart Parking appeals page dropdown menu?

:'( What happens if the Landowner doesn't reply? Or how long does one need to wait before giving up on response and proceed filling out Popla?Coupon-mad said:IMHO - and I am happy to be proved wrong with this opinion - by all accounts, an average person in the street might conclude that there is virtually no chance of Sports Direct or that man stepping in to help:0 -
Popla codes last 32 days1

Pm a board guide , Soolin or Savvy , ask them to do it0

As I mentioned in my op, I appealed against the charge. It went along "The ticket was paid at 14:28 for an hour.... (I think I used 'We' in one of the sentence although not sure as I can't check the appeal) it was 2 or 3 sentence appeal as I didn't know about how appeals should be detailed like in the NEWBIES sticky forum beforehand. But I didn't say I was the driver as I wasn't. They send me letter after a week or so saying they're going to uphold the PCN but have given me option of paying at discounted amount or appeal further with POPLA.Coupon-mad said:

But I didn't say I was the driver as I wasn't.Ah, you can win then, if that is the case! Smart can't hold anyone but the driver liable so this wins at POPLA.
I guess you received the PCN in your name as keeper? Not addressed to someone else who is the keeper?
And you must have ticked 'registered keeper' instead then, when appealing online to Smart? Unless you appealed by post, you must have chosen one or other (online) in order to have the status to appeal.
But don't make it sound like there was only you and your child in the car, in any complaint or appeal.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

As above , appeal as a keeper to Popla , the royal WE can be used to keep numbers ambiguous , appeal on
Non compliance with POFA
Driver not proven ,CSO no transfer of liability from keeper to driver
Poor and inadequate signage
No landowner authority
Any BPA CoP failures
Etc
For Popla , choose Other and upload the appeal as a Pdf attachment0 -

Good morning and yes I did it as a registered keeper. The pole signs were clear and almost on every poles but the T&Cs were only at 3 places and as you can see takes time to read.
