Thanks for your reply
Yes, i just needed to ensure i dont have a CCJ in my name with having a Mortgage and being in enough debt already. Don't want to make it worse when i turn things around in the future!
Just to clarify.. if the company chooses to do a credit search then and find there are other addresses linked to your name. Does that give them a case to assume you live elsewhere? The must be the reason they wrote to me at my Mum's.
If i do the set aside and pay the fee, i just want to make sure i have a concrete case. I can call the DVLA and see if they can provide confirmation that the car was consistently registered at my address and not my Mums.

Also, if i do the set aside based on the wrong address. What is likely to be the outcome? Would one have to fight the case again?0

As for the DVLA , you won't be calling them as it's pointless , everything in writing , read the mantra by member Umkomaas , where you email a request and they reply by royal mail
You need to forget the notion that phone calls work !! Everything in writing !!2 -

You may need to adapt it to reflect your circumstances. You should email the DVLA and ask which organisations (when and for what reason) accessed the registered keeper's data from them between a range of dates which includes the date(s) of the parking incident(s). You need to provide the registered keeper's full name and address, the address on the V5C logbook and the Vehicle Registration Mark of the vehicle involved in the parking incident.SubjectAccess.Requests@dvla.gov.ukThis service is free of charge.Even though you email your request, the DVLA will respond via Royal Mail. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

You need to act promptly as the court will expect the N244 application soon, this month. The examples in the NEWBIES thread show you what to do. There is also a new thread by a poster today who has read the NEWBIES and posted exactly what he is doing, without asking any questions - it is that easy to follow.PRIVATE 'PCN'?
