Cash Lisa

Does anybody know if my daughter can open and pay in to a LISA if she is living and working abroad for a year?

ISAs can only be opened and funded by UK residents, although there is a tax year extension for the latter, as per https://www.gov.uk/individual-savings-accounts/if-you-move-abroad

    If you move abroad

If you open an Individual Savings Account (ISA) in the UK then move abroad, you cannot put money into it after the tax year that you move (unless you’re a Crown employee working overseas or their spouse or civil partner).
