  • Sofa, or at least part of it should arrive Thursday. My neighbour has a key which means it can be delivered thankfully!

  • Happy weekend everyone!

part of the sofa order arrived but it’s better than nothing. I’m just waiting on the three seater now. I do love it as well.

The living room just looks so much better and modern now. A complete transformation from what it was and so cheap compared to what I was thinking for next year. I’ve got some cushions and a rug to buy but they’re not urgent and can wait.

Money is okay. 10 days till payday and I’m doing fine. Im owed £130 from my bank account for switching. That will pay for DD’s Christmas present.

Will list a few bits on eBay this weekend as well, just to make sure I’m ok. I’ve got all little presents for Christmas. I just need the bigger ones now. Due some vouchers though and that will absorb some of the cost. I’ve taken on an additional role in work so I’m trying to negotiate the extra payment that comes with it. Apparently it’s complicated but when you’re doing the job I’m not sure what is complicated about it.

I’m seeing my friend this weekend too and I’m really looking forward to that. I love the time we have together.

    Hope everyone is ok x

Morning,  Glad you like the sofa, I often worry incase it’s different when you put it in your own room due to lighting etc in the shop.
I noticed the banks were starting paying to swap accounts they had stopped that for a while.
What’s dd main present this year.
Hope you have a nice time with your friend x

I hadn’t seen this one as I bought it from the internet and it’s chunkier than I thought. The good thing is that it does look ok! Like you said they look smaller in the shops.

DD doesn’t know what she wants so I’m at a bit of a loss!

Yes, they did stop it and I’ve hit all the criteria so they said 30 days and it will be in my account.

  • Morning,

Sunday again, it comes round so quickly!
9 days till payday and I should just stay out of my overdraft. I managed to over pay as well as finish the living room.

My car insurance is due as well. I got the renewal letter yesterday and found it almost £200 cheaper with £40 cash back. Amazes me how companies put it up when it’s cheaper elsewhere.

Not sure what is happening with DD today. Her dad was going to take her but she’s been in contact with a positive case and although she doesn’t have to isolate, I’ve left it with him as to whether he’ll be taking her to where they were going. She’s absolutely fine. I’ve still got my plans today regardless of what is happening with DD. She’ll become part of them if her Dad decides he’s not taking her. The only thing is he won’t just be able to come and sit round the house all afternoon.

    Have fun everyone x
