Feeling very quiet here today. DD had a rehearsal at school for an upcoming event and then she went straight to a friend's house from there so haven't seen her since 9.30am. She'll be home later though, usually when she's hungry.

Refund processed from a purchase i made. I was waiting on the returns label as it looks nothing like the picture, only to be given the refund without it. The seller apparently had 4 days to provide one and didn't, so the website intervened. Can't complain really as now have the item and the refund should be with me in the next few days.

Evaluated the shopping category of my spending and it doesn't make good reading. It is overspending emotionally that I know I've done. Thankfully, I've gotten away with it this month but I known can't in others. I've accumulated some extra in my emergency fund. Not sure if I pay off more debt or just leave it there for now. Paying off debt will reduce monthly outgoings, meaning more surplus.

    My current financial debts are
    Bathroom 0% interest. £185 a month
Car (legacy of impulse buy) 8.8% £264 a month. I've got that to reduce monthly amount rather than term currently.
    Mortgage 1.68%.

Nothing too drastic, but mortgage renewal is this year and I know I'm not getting anywhere near the 2% mark so ideally could do with reducing everything else to account for this.

Money decisions are always so hard. Purchasing on impulse is the easy bit.

Can you move the car loan (or even part of it) to a 0% or onto your mortgage?   That's a steep percentage you are paying

    Hi,

Yes I could move it on to the mortgage but it would make it a secured loan whereas now it is unsecured.

No other 0% option for it though and not much chance of being accepted for a lesser rate. I've already looked into that.

I had a rest day today. I have some appointments and stressful things this week so managing it so that I have time off.

Tomorrow is a trip to buy some bits that I should have got a few months back but as you know things didn't go well.

Tuesday is uni day, Wednesday is a day of rest and Thursday is the stressful appointment with a train journey and finding somewhere I don't know. Friday will then force me to relax as I will be struggling after Thursday.

It's so hard having been so active having to make sure I build in rest days. I've something on every evening this week as well, mostly DD's clubs.

Feeling very tired and exhausted this week. Think I might be coming down with something.

Had more bad news yesterday and the death of another auntie. Not one I am close to as they live in another country, but it's just another hit to the family already suffering. I had only met her a couple of times so not impacted directly.

Decluttering has been going well. Lots of books given away and items either recycled or given to people. Most items given for free as not sellable but also not just fit for the bin. I don't like putting things in the bin if they can be used.

Money is ok. Need to keep on track this week and next before payday. Have enough fuel so it's just monitoring shopping

Sorry to hear of yet more bad news for the family.

You’ve had a lot to deal with recently so no surprise you’re feeling exhausted.

Hope the appointment tomorrow goes smoothly and you get a relaxing day Friday to recover xx
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)

    Thanks Sun

Sometimes we have bad times,I know it happens to us all.

Tomorrow's appt will hopefully be OK. I'll be absolutely having a rest day on Friday. DD has her counselling appt which I must remember to move money from my savings for. DDs dad hasn't responded to paying half.

Had a lovely evening last night. DD was at scouts and I visited a friend and had some time to catch up. I'm enjoying the little things.

I'm afraid I'm going to close my diary again.
It would seem that it is being read again.

There's no point writing what I think and feel.

Thank you to everyone who has cheered me on and kept me going. I will continue my journey but as I've had two identities on here and both have been found and read, I've not got the energy to create a third and start again.

I wish everyone luck and will cheer people on in the background.
    Love to all
