Storm is bad again and had me up most of the night. I was chasing the rabbits round the garden early hours as they’d managed to get out and the hutch door had closed behind them. They were clearly distressed with the wind so I got them back in their hutch after about 20 minutes of trying. It was so cold.

yesterday I decluttered the kitchen island drawers. A lot of bits went in the bin and it looks so much neater.

I have the cupboard of doom upstairs to do today to make more room for the extra bits I’ll be buying. I might pop some bits for sale if there is anything I need to put on from what I find.

Baking this morning as well. That cupboard will have to be done today and bits also put in the loft.

  • Low spend day today. I got the voucher so managed to get the onesie for half price. At least that’s one thing sorted. DD and I did some baking today and decorating the cakes after.

I’m just sat listening to music whilst DD is playing.

Trying to keep the week cheap whilst still ensuring we’ve done things. I didn’t sort the cupboard of doom.

Rang about the bank switch error and found what was wrong so I’m in the process of sorting it now. It’ll take a few days.

Still monitoring and tracking every day to make sure I know exactly what I’m spending. I’ve got private physio on Wednesday. It’s a cost I need to pay unfortunately. I just want to see where he thinks it’s up to so I can see how I feel about work next week.

  • Nice day planned with DD today. Taking her to try some new foods that’s she’s been asking for for ages. I managed to book in. I got a special offer on it too, always helps.

Might have to replace the fence on one side though. We knew it needed doing this year and it survived the storms but the other side of neighbours didn’t. They’re getting a quote for all of it as it might as well all be done in one, which will deplete the money I’ve saved up this month 🤦🏼‍♀️ There’s always something.

Half the week now done. DD had swimming tonight but I’ve moved it from now on as the class is always full and she’s not progressing. The new class has half the students in it so 🤞🏻 She progresses now.

Got my full day creating course on Saturday. Can’t wait to be honest. I’m really looking forward to it.

Money is going to be tight this month. I’ve deliberately stretched myself on savings so I’ll need to be extra cautious with spending. I’m having some private medical care though to try to establish what’s happening with my back. It’s unfortunate I need to pay but it’s my body and health. It was supposed to be today but it’s been moved till Friday and I’m hoping I get some answers.

  • Morning, I have been working this morning and also spent the morning writing down what I have been spending my money on. I love my little budget diary as it really means I have to write down what I am buying each day and it keeps me on top of everything. It's helping with my spending and saving as well.

I've managed to lower my bills just a little which will help support the massive increase in fuel I have just had an email about. It's scary how much it is going up. I'm still waiting for the fence quote so will see what that comes in at as well. Trying to keep costs down is turning into a nightmare as things just keep increasing all around.

I had a couple of strong dreams last night. One of them was about the house and the money I had put in at the beginning. It was weird. Another was about a job interview I went to where I got the job and actually was so upset as I didn't want it!

Things are really changing for me.

Oh how lovely, you’ve been looking forward to that.
Have you enjoyed your week off x
  • Hope crafting day goes ok, let me know what you think ?

  • Hello lovely Willow X
Hope the craft day was good :)

I buy rabbit food from Amazon, even though I now have a ridiculous amount of rabbits I still only buy the smaller 1.5 kg bags as I have no where to store the £18 bags from Pets at home(on offer I think) - also not got the capacity to carry it!! For 1.5Kg with a subscribe and save discount it costs 3.90 a bag. It is £4 a bag at Pets at home, mine have the grain free type as it seems to agree with my boy better, when he is on the other stuff he is a bit more highly strung.

I might look in to the bigger bags having just done the maths!!
