Okay banter/opinions aside, back on topic, I'm asking generally does anyone know what does what does Company status filter means in 3 categories listed there?:

    - Asking for Reviews

    - Claimed

    - Unclaimed

Trustpilot list companies without their knowledge .. Unclaimed.
They can then claim ownership - claimed.

When you filter out the results, you see it on the page.

So unclaimed means dodgy, companies can list themselves in the Trustpilot directory without trustpilot even knowing about it you mean  :o?

No, it means Trustpilot can list them without those companies actually engaging in any way with Trustpilot.

Ah found it. Never gone that far. If I go on it, it is a direct search for a company.

    Company status

    Asking for reviews
List companies that are regularly asking their customers for reviews — whether positive or negative.

    Claimed
List companies that have a Trustpilot account but we have no records of them asking their customers for reviews.

    Unclaimed
List companies that haven’t claimed their Trustpilot account.
    All

I tells you next to the selection.

So it means these companies haven't been verified yet on Truspilot? The companies engaged with trustpilot are like properly registered with trustpilot that is required 1st for engagement?

Yes. Other sites do something similar e.g. you can have a Facebook "Page" for a business which isn't actually maintained by that business (until they choose to take it on).
