Trustpilot search Filters help

Hi,

On Trustpilot site, search filters, what does Company status filter means in 3 categories listed there?:

- Asking for Reviews

- Claimed

- Unclaimed

Which one gives the most accurate true result/the best to use out of the 3 above?

In my experoence trutpilot is useless as a guide for reputable companies.

Would I trust a TrustPiliot review... No.

You see rubbish/fake retailers with 5* reviews & companies with great customer service getting poor reviews.

I thought it be relevant because most consumer right issues can be avoided/prevented if the consumer checked the company's reviews 1st right?

Many times a simple google. But you often only ever find negative review's as people tend to not post positive ones.

As a rule of thumb. If it's something you have picked up via social media. Get the barge pole out

As above . I use google and Amazon reviews .

Negative replies one only has to look at this forum  to see almost nil positive post . We don't naturally post for something that works .

But many flood the entire internet with the most minor of faults .

But Google and Amazon reviews can be faked too right?

Just as  your posts can be faked too .( YOU ARE MORE OR LESS CLAIMING ALL REVIEWS ARE FAKE )

Caveat Emptor is something that predate trust pilot etc .

I'm not gaining any financial benefit by posting on this thread so why should I fake my posts here? What is the incentive for me?
