Spotify Premium free for 3 months, or not?

According to the yesterday’s MSE email, Spotify Premium users are currently getting 3 months free until June 22nd. I have been a Premium subscriber for over a year now, but continue to be charged £9.99 every month, there’s no sign of a ‘free’ 3 months as suggested by the MSE ‘Spotify Plans’ chart. Is this fake news, or am I missing something here? Or is this a new subscribers only offer?

I think the bits you are missing are that you have to be a completely new user or an ex-Spotify user returning.

^^ As above, you can't already be a subscriber.
I cancelled my premium last year and have re-subscribed to get the 3 months for £9.99 successfully. It's a shame it's only for individual accounts though, as we had the family one before. Even that has since gone up to £16.99 a month now.Striving to clear the mortgage before it finishes in Dec 2028 - amount currently owed - £36,632.390 -
I wonder how long after cancelling could I get the “3 months for £9.99” offer?0
