Not any more. Back to one month.
Then i can only assume that this date in incorrect because this would be more than 1 month.

According to a post at Rightsnet, the automatic extension to 3 months ended on 14/05/21. It's possible that this PIP form was sent out on or before that date.

PIP letter is dated 14th May, as usual I didn't receive it until 10 days later approx. So what happens now will my PIP stop, form was posted last Thurs. 17th, should I ring them.

As previously advised, the letter you received was automatically generated and the form you returned was highly likely not added to the comnputer before the letter was sent out. As you only posted it last Thursday, it can take a couple of weeks to be added to the computer.

The 3 month extended deadline should still aply to you as the PIP form was sent out when the 3 month automatic extension was still in place. I would phone up to confirm this though, just to be on the safe side. If there is any doubt, ask for an extension anyway if you feel you need one. However you shouldn't need one if the three month extension still applies to your PIP claim.

Even with an extension (pre-Covid, when extensions were normally given for just 2 or 4 weeks and only after being requested) it was usually the norm to get a reminder letter on the third week. This was because although the deadline for returning the form had been extended, all other action on the case (such as a reminder to return the form) is based on when the form was sent out.

I checked the date of the letter DWP sent to the advice centre, that is dated 2nd June 2021 and has the return date 15th August 2021. They certainly know how to stress people out, think I am going to wait and see if my money goes in, as if they stop it surely I have a good reason for not returning it within 1 month.
