Virgin on the ridiculous

Options
I have a problem with Virgin Mobile.
I signed a three-year contract and they gave me a phone that has consistently failed to work properly.

For example, it won't switch off, Bixby comes on instead, the fingerprint sensor fails continuously, emails are now not sending.

I have been complaining to them for months and they don't answer the phone, fob me off or ignore me.
They told me that they can take it away and fix it, which they say will take 3 - 5 working days, without giving me a backup, which is unacceptable to me, as I need my phone for work and emails etc.
It is not of merchandisable quality. It is going to go out of the 1-year guarantee soon.  They keep saying that they will charge me the rest of the 3 years if I cancel and are stroppy and awkward.
I would be very keen for advice, because they are difficult to deal with.
(I get the TV broadband and all Sky channels from them also, but the Virgin broadband quality is very poor too).

Best regards,

    1. you can customise the side key to eg bring up bixby or power off

    https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00084203/

    2. fingerpring sensor response can be variable - try setting up fingerprint twice or even more with the same finger

    3. whar do you mean emails are not sending? gmail or outlook? what happens? it is unlikely to be a fault but rather a setting eg sync

It would be worth factory resetting as OP reads as probable setup problem .

3-5 days is very acceptable for a repair , work phone is it a business contract ??

Consumer rights allow them to inspect and if a fault found replace repair or pro rata refund .
Please dont cancel dd . as it will end up with debt recovery and credit record trashed .

VM broadband nothing to do with the phone  .
