Received DEBT RECOVERY PLUS letter in Scotland

I received a ‘high view parking’ ticket back in February this year and ignored from the advice given on money saving expert. I have since received lots of threatening letters and now debt recovery plus has given me a ‘final warning’ before taking me to ‘court’, I phoned them to say this was ridiculous and I’m not paying but now I’m worried that if I continue to ignore because I phoned them they will have this on my records. I was worried with the last threatening letter and stupidly phoned and I’m now scared they will hold this against me ?

As DRP cannot bring a court claim it does not matter what anyone says to them
Don't contact them again regardless what they say .... they lie and are simply circus clowns
PLUS you are in scotland and Highview know they would be daft to go further
Just let the DRP clowns waste their time .... nothing to worry about

Have you complained to your MP?You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0

I hope you didn't blab about the driver's identity when you 'phoned the powerless debt collectors. If you did, they could pass that information back to the PPC who can then pursue the driver.
The information on this forum says, ignore debt collectors for a reason.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister. All my screwdrivers are cordless."You're Safety Is My Primary Concern Dear" - Laks0 -

This is an unregulated industry. At the moment only the driver can be held liable in Scotland, so let's hope you didn't reveal that information. Do watch out in the future because your dear leader has incorporated a ridiculous English law into the Transport Bill, Scotland, that will allow the keeper, who may not have been in the car at the time, to become liable.
This makes her claims for independence an absolute joke.
What happened when you complained to the landholder? That is always Plan A, and it is never too late to do it.
Other than that, all you can do is wait to see if they try a claim in the Scottish Courts under the Act of Sederunt/Simple Procedure Rules.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister. All my screwdrivers are cordless."You're Safety Is My Primary Concern Dear" - Laks1 -

Your MSP. The one in whose constituency you live.
I found this website very useful to do this.

Please just ignore it as per the clear advice in the 4th post of the NEWBIES thread.
Not sure what else you need to know; there is never a need for a thread about tedious DRP letters. Please can we stop giving them the time of day.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

OP, have you based your forum username on your real name? If so, you may want to get your forum username changed to something completely anonymous.
To help with that, have a read of this item from the Forum's FAQs:Can I change my username?
In most circumstances, we don't allow this.
The only reason we will change your username is if it puts your privacy at risk e.g. you've inadvertently registered using your name, email address or something which gives away your identity within your username.
If you fall into this category, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com your current username, the email address you registered with and three alternative usernames in order of preference.
