However if you then find the caliper is seized or the caliper seals are dead you need to put the tools away, go to the parts store for a caliper or wait 3 days for new seals to arrive. Get the tools back out strip off the caliper and rebuild it say an hour per side. Fit the new caliper and then refit the disks and pads.
If you are lucky an hour long job but your car could be off the road a week. How lucky are you feeling.
As a side point anyone else finding the new look forum hard on the eyes on a mobile.0
