Smart meters standing charge

Just had smart meters fitted - does the standing charge get included in what they display
If so how and at what point in the day does the fixed amount get added
As a pretty low user - I find the 16.98 and 19.21 p per day virtually doubles my bill

Provided your supplier has set the correct tariff information in each of your meters, this information will be passed to your IHD via the Home Area Network established by the comms hub that sits above your electricity meter. The daily cost will include the standing charges for gas and electricity. This normally appears at midnight each day.
That said, the cost for gas may be slightly different from what appears on the statement as a fixed calorific value is used whereas your actual gas cost will be based on the actual average CV.0 -
Put your actual annual consumption into a comparison site like CAB and Which and see if you can find a cheaper supplier.Deleted_User said:......

Hi,the IHD is a novelty to start with, you will soon lose interest and throw it in a drawer. As already said it normally gets added at start of each day.Just set up a wee spreadsheet, take monthly readings and update, or weekly, daily, ever half hour if that is your want, keep your eye on things.0

My EDF IHD has never added the Standing Charge first thing, I am frequently up at 0500 and both electricity and gas reflect the actual usage only, both in kWh and £.
I have never sat up to see what happens at 2359 > 00010 -
The wife has already started on the "you'll have turn off the router at night"![Deleted User] said:Hi,the IHD is a novelty to start with, you will soon lose interest and throw it in a drawer. As already said it normally gets added at start of each day.Just set up a wee spreadsheet, take monthly readings and update, or weekly, daily, ever half hour if that is your want, keep your eye on things.0 -
Also - does the display data replicate across to Octopus Android app?0

The Government has long argued that smart savings come in two forms: one, greater awareness of energy use will encourage people to turn things off and, two, profiled usage will allow the industry to better match supply with demand.Deleted_User said:

I did consider this before accepting change, but due to personal circumstances, I decided to accept it !Gerry1 said:Dolor said:
