As I have around a thousand bookmarks, many passwords and 3+ rows of tabs entering them all by cut 'n paste isn't a viable option!!!Import Bookmarks
To import Bookmarks from another browser on the same computer or from an HTML file,
- Go to the
Vivaldi menu > File > Import Bookmarks and Settings.
- Select which browser you want to import bookmarks from;
- Click Start Import.
Depending on the source browser, you can import other browser data, such as Passwords and History, at the same time as well.
Firefox 57 doesn't have any option to export anything in any format, not HTML or csv nothing. And everything is saved in their own format.
Last time I tried other browsers (which would have been 2018 when FF changed and most addon stopped working), the option to import from Firefox was in them all!

But I think I've found a work around. I've found an old backup extension that saves all the info as individual .json files. A friend of my daughter is wiz bang Linux developer and can write a batch file that converts .json into .csv which I can then import into Vivaldi.
It's a very long winded way of doing it, but if it gets me out of using this version it'll be well worth it!

Alternatively:You can save them to HTML format too by pressing Ctrl-Shift-B (or hitting Alt, then navigating to Tools->Bookmarks), then clicking on "Import and Backup" and selecting "Export Bookmarks to HTML...".0 - Go to the

You made me install Waterfox Classic. Worked as I wrote: Ctrl-Shift-B0

But that still doesn't get the history or the passwords exported.
I've exported all the files as .json and I've have them back tomorrow as .csv and as html files, so I'm sorted to move to Vivaldi.
Thank you again for the recommendation.
