Getting nowhere with EDF

Fri 02 Apr 2021 18kWh £3.28 Out of flat at 0600, maybe some consumption in the morning for shower, kettle and tv
Sat 03 Apr 2021 14.5kWh £2.68 Away from flat
Sun 04 Apr 2021 15kWh £2.77 Away from flat
Mon 05 Apr 2021 16kWh £2.92 Returned 2200 this day, straight to bed
Data was taken from the EDF Energy Hub which collates readings on my account.
Does this look right? Or can someone point me in the direction of someone who can answer my question? It baffles me that I have lower figures for January and February, for which I used electric heating for most of the months, so having much higher readings in March and April does not make much sense (to me at least).
The smart meter is showing a very low usage at the moment (1kWh/day) - I am on the hook for electric for the time being until a new tenant is found, so can get access to this info. This is following a recent software update.
EDF have confirmed software updates were attempted and failed as well.
Thank you in advance.
Shaun

Missing a lot of facts. Are you all electric? The reference to a boiler is strange: have you confused a boiler with an immersion heater?Did your electric heating and/or immersion heater come on automatically, e.g. when Economy 7 cheap rate kicked in?If you've moved out, how can you still access the meter readings? Are you a landlord?0

Ignore the IHD/energy hub. Look at the meters and check the actual readings against those billed on your statement. For the IHD to work properly, EDF has to update the correct tariff information in each of your meters. Tariffs can be checked either by looking at some of the sub menus in the IHD or in actual meter menus. Incorrectly set tariffs will result in incorrect cost information.0

My IHD from EDF has had major issues since an update last November, the tariffs are incorrect and the electricity cost calculation has varied between 6p and £2230 for one day, when it is actually around £1 to £1.30
The instant kWh reading look roughly in line with usage.
Both meter readings however tally exactly on IHD and meters.

Hello there,It is an electric only account.I used to live there but left as the building the flat was contained in was in such disrepair that I agreed with my landlord / letting agent that I could end my tenancy early instead of seeing it out to the end - it contributed to me being signed off sick. The water heater / boiler / immersion heater (very large cylindrical installation in a cupboard in the flat - forgive me, I am unsure which it would be).As part of that deal, I would be responsible for all bills and rent until a new tenant has been found (this has happened as someone new moves in on 01 Jul), hence I still have access to the apartment until the new tenant arrives.Heating manually controlled, so switched on for as long as needed to warm the flat up. No Economy 7 meter installed. In the meantime, following the advice - as you say if the tarriff info is not correct on the smart meter and costings are potentially incorrect due to software issues, that makes sense.Does that mean the energy consumption would be showing correctly? If so, I am trying to determine how a flat left alone with only the fridge/freezer and water heater running for 4 days with no one in it in April can use so much energy compared to January when heating was on for part of the day, I was working from home for 14 days continuously when consumption is less (as recorded by EDF!)Apologies for seeming to be obtuse, but having lived in past properties where 4 people where I paid less per month for combined gas and electricity. My final bill is £350 for the period (103 days)... I guess I want to understand how that can be?0

Read the kWh figure on the meter each day to see what is really being used.0

Go to your online MY ACCOUNT and then the page named ENERGY HUB, it will show hourly, daily and monthly usage and as long as your smart meter is sending readings correctly, both the monetary and kWh usage will be spot on.0

Also have you turned the hot water completely off. May be worth going to the fusebox/consumer unit in the flat and turning everything off and see if your meter is still incrementing daily!0

Strikes me as very high for a 1 bed flat! Just want to make sure this is typical?
Presently the meter is reporting approx. 1 kWh per day.0 -
Am I right in assuming that you've not read the meter yourself ? (forget the IHD - I mean the meter itself that's in a box outside your flat.) Read it now please - take care some of these meters can be difficult to read - watch out for the decimal point and particular care if it has a mini key pad.
When was the Smart installed - it would have read 00000.0
I'm a bit confused - is the £185 a MONTH or over a period of time |? If it has been say a DD of £65 then it maybe that EDF now has an actual reading and is playing catch-up or that it doesn't have a reading and is still guessing.
Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill0
