Rantband’s post of the 15th. ‘You have obviously failed to read/understand any of the replies given to your original rambling question/complaint If you are not happy with the way any company communicates with you your choice is not to deal with them.
Ebay will certainly not miss you.’
Soolin’s reply of the 15th. ‘You have completely lost me now. Most of us here know how managed payments work and don’t need lengthy cut and paste old articles, try reading some of the other responses and with your own cut and paste article you might get a clearer view on how it works.’
After I had sold the item I wondered why eBay were using certain phrases and provisos and legalese in their e-mails to me, such as:
’Your item has been paid for.’
‘Payouts of available funds are initiated within 2 working days of order confirmation. Once eBay initiates a payout, funds will be available in your bank account per normal bank processing times.’
‘eBay has sent your payout. Your payout is on its way to your bank account. Available in your bank account in 0-4 working days.’
‘As a reminder, eBay now manages payments and payouts go directly to your bank account. Funds will be available per normal bank processing times, typically within 0-4 working days. Learn more about how payouts work when eBay manages payments…
Regardless of how the buyer pays, payouts are initiated within 2 working days of order confirmation. Once a payout is initiated, funds will be available in your bank account per normal bank processing times, typically within 0-4 working days. All that I had expected and required was a straight-forward, ‘you’ve been paid.’ eBay has still not responded to my query. However, it was the BBC article ( which I pasted a few days ago ) which answered my question: ‘…payments will now take two working days to be transferred, while PayPal was usually on the same day.’
Rantband. No thanks for pointing out that it’s my choice ‘not to deal them’ - I started the 30-day process which eBay requires to close accounts two days ago. Regarding your posts, I’m going to offer you some advice when you write your posts - try to develop tact; I’m sure you don’t want to become known as an internet warrior.

Still waiting for the answer about the amount of Ebay sales you transacted between June 2015 and when you were accepted onto managed payments.1

I have sold things on ebay for about 15 years and I always leave feedback, I remember when buyers used to leave it as well, now it seems I can sell 20 items and am lucky to get 1 feedback! Why?0
