......................drain them then blitz them in the liquidiser - they make a lovely sauce for ice cream, mousse or cheesecake. If it's too thick, add a little juice.

Use them instead of dried druit when making bread & butter pudding. I had this in the States and it's wonderful!!

    brillo things
I add to teh pan of pork chops with some onions, mushies, peppers and anything else i might have in the fridge. Add a little brown sugar and it's super delish.
I ave a dodgy H, so sometimes I will sound dead common, on occasion dead stupid and rarely, pig ignorant. Sometimes I may be these things, but I will always blame it on my dodgy H.

Sorry, I'm a bit of a grumble weed today, no offence intended ... well it might be, but I'll be sorry.

    Hi everyone,
I'm sure someone out there can help me...
I have 3 tins of sliced peaches and rather than serving them with icecream or in jelly, I thought I'd try something a bit interesting.
I was thinking of maybe a crumble or something. Has anyone done this before?
Does anyone have any ideas on how it could be done? Would I drain out all the juice beforehand? Keep some in? Cook them slightly first?

    Any ideas greatly appreciated

    Tinned peaches make lovely flans.
You can buy ready made sponge flan cases and flavoured gelatine sachets.

Just draining them and using for a crumble is fine; no need to pre cook the fruit. Also, try peach and banana crumble - I love it. If you have ice cream and sauce, how about peach melba? Or liquidise the peaches to make a fruity sauce, add icing sugar to taste.
I have the mind of a criminal genius. I keep it in the freezer next to Mother....
