Today I learned something!

Highly alcoholic things don't really go off.
Great news, I should be around for a good few years yet then

I bought some hand sanitiser bottles over the weekend. However, when I got home I realised that they were all out of date.
I shall be taking them back to the shop, but can I get some sort of compensation for being sold these out of date hand sanitisers?
Thanks
Of course, they’ll still work perfectly, so you may as well use them.0 -
neilmcl said:Yes they have expiry dates, although I very much doubt they do "expire" that much on the dates in question and wouldn't still be active for years to come, but that's not the point.
Return them for a refund, not sure why you think you need compensation though.

Hand sanitisers do last for years but loose some effectiveness after about 3 years.
