How is Zaagle.com for dial up

Options
Hello guys,
I am looking for a reliable cheap dial-up internet as i cannot get broadband. Now the website suggests Fast4.net and Zaagle.com. I have read user comments on Fast4.net, seems i shouldnt be touching them even with a barge pole. I looked at zaggle which offers dial up for same price...anybody using it have any views
Many Thanks

I have a few friends using zaggle (www.zaggle.net) not .com by the way ;)

Anyhow, they have found it to be quite reliable for their needs, and happily recommend it, one or two of them are thinking about upgrading to their broadband service.

    Hope this helps . . .
  • I joined Zaggle 1 month ago after seeing it recommended on this site. It worked ok for the first 2 weeks with just the odd dropped connection. But the last 2 weeks have been a nightmare. The connection is dropping every 5 to 10 minutes & redialling takes 3 or 4 attempts. It is also very slow, compared to other dialup services that I have used. Because of this poor service I decided to cancel.
Cancellation has to be done either online via the My Account page or phoning a 7 days a week Customer Service Help Desk.
When I tried to access the My Account cancellation page, I was told I could not access it until 1 day after my first month had passed,(when you join you pay 1 month in advance). CLEVER - This means that before I could cancel, they had taken a 2nd payment from my credit card.
Anyway, as advised, 1 day after the first month had passed, I tried to access the My Account cancellation page only to find that it was CLOSED due to technical reasons, STRANGE - All other parts of the site seemed to be ok. The closed notice gave a Customer Service 0871 telephone number to ring. This is supposed to be 7 days a week. When I rang that number on sunday afternoon a recorded voice stated - "nobody was available, RING DURING OFFICE HOURS". (Extra income from the 0871 phone number). SOME CUSTOMER SERVICE!
So I am now into my 2nd month with Zaggle - even though I dont want to be with them. I will have to block them from accessing my credit card to stop them taking a 3rd payment.
So take my advice and stay well away from ZAGGLE - I wish I had done so.

PS: My dial-up connection has failed 3 times whilst writing this.
