Car Insurance claim final response

I had my insurance cancelled and my claim voided as they found modifications I had no knowledge of , they classed it as a deliberate misrepresentation, they have not overturned this original indemnity decision and classed me as carless misrepresentation, they have instructed the claims team to proceed with the claim for it to be settled under normal conditions of the policy ,
does this mean my insurance is still cancelled ? And does this mean that there will be possible additional premiums retrospectively ? As if it is still cancelled and not allowed to run term then I’ll never be able to afford insurance again
cheers for any help

Better off asking in motoring forum.
You would really need to ask the ins co if they are still cancelling the policy and it's impact. As you might have a complaint that you could take to FOS.Life in the slow lane0 -

Technically they cannot force you to pay additional premiums however it can often be sensible to do so. If you dont pay any additional premiums then they are entitled to reduce your settlement by the percentage of unpaid premiums... ie if your original premiums were £400 and with the modes it would have been £600 then they can deduct 1/3 from your settlement.0 -
