Hi All,
I need to stick some 15mm MDF strips to a painted wall. Would ideally like to do this without screws, as will need to paint afterwards.
Looking for recommendations on the best grab adhesive to use for this?
Thanks all

It depends what they're going to be used for. Can you give more detail on the dimensions along with what they're for?0

Yes should have given more detail!
The wife wants panelling on one wall in the bedroom and it gives me an excuse to use my track saw. The horizontal pieces will be made from 15cm x 150cm strips. The verticals will be 10cm x 120cm.
They won't have to take any load, and will be getting my brother to spray them for a nice finish. Was hoping to avoid filling screw holes as I have never been happy with my previous attempts, maybe I just need to be better at it!0 -
Tbh sticks like sh: isn’t the best, well not for me anyway, I prefer no more nails, if you drill and countersink the screws, as Niel suggested, then mix some sawdust from the MDF with a little wood glue, it will blend in better and should easily paint over, you could practice on a bit of scrap/offcut mdf and see if your happy how it looks1

CT1 is what you need IMHO.2

TBH, for this type of application where there's no load I'd be tempted to make up the panelling first then attach it via a foam adhesive such a Dow Insta-stik or the Soudal stuff.1

If it's not carrying any great weight, then any instant grab adhesive should do. I have been using Wickes own-brand solvent free instant grab adhesive recently, and it works well.
If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.1 -
What are peoples' opinions of Pink Grip as an adhesive?Living with Lupus is like juggling with butterflies0

Do have half a thought to the future - might you or someone want to take this down?
