Slow available speeds

I am coming to end of my plusnet broadband contract and looking to switch. I am current on faster fibre and usually get speeds in 30’s. Every time i use a comparison site to view available options, it shows me speeds up to 67 mb but when I go to BT and TalkTalk sites, the maximum speed I can get at my address is 7-15 mb with guaranteed speed of 3 mb but if I check Sky, Vodafone and Now tv, the speeds they are offering are quite similar to what I get now. Entering my address on open reach site shows me that the maximum speed I can get is in middle 40’s.
Is that normal to see this much difference between different ISPs considering they all use OpenReach.

I suspect that BT/TalkTalk are looking at the BT Wholesale checker which shows a "waiting list" for fibre (FTTC) connections in your area. On the other hand, Sky/Now & Vodaphone are just checking initially ,that your area has FTTC generally available.
If you leave Plusnet ,you may find that no-one will be able to offer fibre ,as your line will be pinched by another ISP for their customer if there is a shortage!
You can check your local cabinet availability by using BT Broadband (btwholesale.com)
It's becoming a more common issue because Openreach are putting most of their resource into expansion of full fibre (FTTP) rather than expanding FTTC with its use of the "old" copper network for the last "mile" .2 -

I can see the available speeds and everything else on that portal by entering my phone number but I am not sure if there is any way to check if there are pending requests for new connections or not. I can see the column "left in jumper" is empty which may indicate that there is no more space left for new connections in that cabinet.0 -
