My question was directed more at anyone who may have already flown and would have a definite answer.   I have checked all the conditions of entry to spain and no test is required.  So you dont have the answer you are just guessing. I wont  be chartering a plane but thanks anyway.
Yes they are doing exactly that.

I also want to know the answer (not to Spain and not on Ryanair but in general) and it seems quite hard to find out. Despite the awful reception you've received from those with too much time on their hands, I do hope you'll spare a minute to update the thread when you find out for sure what the policy is.

Thank you. Its the same reception i find on this moneysavingexpert forum every time i post.  I will update the thread when i have a definite answer. Im sure the airlines just want people on board.

Knowing what someone experienced last week isn't the same as knowing what you need to do as things are changing all the time. I gave you the link to Ryanair's T&C's, you can check it properly yourself.  If Ryanair change anything between when you book and when you fly they'll have to email you an update. If you can't be arsed reading their T&C's then you should just stay at home, as for people who can't be bothered to read and follow instructions, now is not the time to try and go abroad.

The official advice from the government is don't go on holiday to Spain and only go there if it's essential, so there may not be anyone on here who has just flown to Spain specifically with Ryanair from Belfast.
My goodness. What a reply. Thanks so much for the T And C s. I have studied them and am none the wiser on this point as it isnt mentioned.

Sure they do. Even if they are potentially infected, asymptomatic and untested? And potentially requiring the plane to be taken out of service for deep cleaning, and the flight and cabin crew quarantining? That's a really great business model...
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)

Your earlier reply seemed aimed at everyone as it didn't include a quote but it may have been targeted at @MattMattMattUK

You seem to have this idea that you need a test to get on a Ryanair flight unless you find something which states you don't, which seems to be back to front.  For boarding flights to some countries you need a medical grade mask opposed to just any mask, that doesn't mean the airline needs to say for flights to Spain you don't need a medical grade mask, presume they don't unless specified rather than presume you do unless specified.

Thank you for posting back on this 🙌🏻 I had the same scenario myself but with EasyJet, I’d read all your earlier posts and read the EJ  T&C’s which did not include the information about whether they will require proof before boarding- it does not say in these terms.

I called them yesterday and asked that question and they replied  “ If the country you are flying to does not require proof of a negative test or proof of vaccination status then neither do we”  in the conversation we did of course agree that this status may change at any time and we then may be subject to providing proof.

I then went on the www.spth.gob.es. website and the next time Spain are reviewing their status information is on 27th June 2021 - at this moment (today being 20/06/21) Spain are still allowing people on their Third Country List to fly in without proof of negative test or vaccine status requirement. The UK still appears on their Third country list.  I will check we still are on this list before we travel without our proof of a negative test.

Whilst  in conversation with the same advisor I enquired about a rumour I had heard about all airlines being in current talks with the government regarding the risk to people who are now vaccinated (and airline staff who are vaccinated) and the risk of them now being a higher risk of blood clots (DVT’s ) after the vaccination.  The advisor confirmed this to be true and said we “have to do what is best for everyone “

Given that BA have suffered the deaths of four of its pilots, very suddenly and all without previous health issues this is the reason for these talks taking place.  This has been confirmed by BA and I have a family member who works as cabin crew for them.
So this may now be the bigger issue for flying rather than me worrying about testing etc.

Her is a link to a news report broadcast on Sky New Australia 12/06/2021 confirming this story.
