I have put this on the house buying board because I am sure I am not alone.
We are downsizing so need to sell stuff larger more valuable stuff is not a issue Facebook market place is great.
However what do you do with the £1-10 value items? Too may to list individually not enough value for eBay.
There is no car boots on at the moment where I live (Wales) they have all be cancelled this year as they are mostly test centres! I already have half a transit full!
Ideas would be very welcome I cant bear to throw or give the stuff away I'm too tight!
And before people suggest charity shops they won't want most of it. (I know I work in this sector!)

Have you considered grouping similar items and selling online? For lower value items this makes the postage or effort of collection more reasonable.2

It doesn't help that there is stuff left over from renovating my house. Tools I wont use again, odd plumbing bits, timber, stuff from old house its such a mish mash perfect for carbooting!2 -
Sell it on Facebook as a bundle for someone else to sell as a car boot?
Or just give it away - put it in a box outside your house with FREE written on it!Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)2 -
Cant you box it all up and stick in a shed or garage or somewhere until car boot sales come back.1

2, I don't want to pay for the extra removal.
3, the new house doesn't have a shed or garage until I build one!0 -
It’s tricky. We ended up just taking things we couldn’t sell to the recycling centre. Where we are there is a reuse section for tools etc but I would still consider bundling if you can. For example, I have previously successfully sold some left over plastic pipe, pipe fittings and pipe cutting tools. And have bought second hand tiling tools. It’s amazing what will sell if you go to the effort of listing it!1

Worth at least a facebook listing with a bulk photo and see if anyone wants to take it away and car boot themselves - or make you an offer for something they spot in the photo.

Do you have a local "Nextdoor" online group ( https://nextdoor.co.uk/ ), They do free ads for stuff for sale and free.
Fregle also if you want to give away the stuff you cannot find a buyer forIf you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0 -
