    Hello and welcome.

You need to be reading the fourth post of the NEWBIES thread to discover how to deal with debt collectors letters. But to summarise that post - ignore them.

    Just to add...
You have shown the whole world you full name and address together with your vehicle's registration mark.
I wonder what someone else could do with that information.

You have left all your personal data showing. An unscrupulous person or organisation could do a lot of damage with that information. You should ask a board guide such as savvy or soolin to delete it.
Nobody here needs to see it.

Debt collectors are powerless and can safely be ignored. They cannot take you to court, but the PPC can.

You should read the sticky thread for NEWBIES. This explains the whole process, and explains why you should not ignore a PCN.
The fourth post of the NEWBIES explains why it is safe to ignore this letter. Do not ignore real court papers.

The 4th post of the NEWBIES thread begs for no threads about DRP as we hav eno time to repeat 'ignore it' and we are needed by people who have court claims.

Get aboard guide to edit and delete that photo as it shows the world your name and address.

Complain to the retailer of course, as the NEWBIES thread tells you to do, in the first post.    That is PLAN A and it astonishes me that people don't think to do it.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

At least £50 of the so called debt is likely to be unlawful, read this and complain to your MP.

    Excel v Wilkinson

At the Bradford County Court, District Judge Claire Jackson (now HHJ Jackson, a Specialist Civil Circuit Judge) decided to hear a 'test case' a few months ago, where £60 had been added to a parking charge despite Judges up and down the country repeatedly disallowing that sum and warning parking firms not to waste court time with such spurious claims.   That case was Excel v Wilkinson: G4QZ465V, heard in July 2020 and leave to appeal was refused and that route was not pursued.  The Judge concluded that such claims are proceedings with 'an improper collateral purpose'.   This Judge - and others who have since copied her words and struck dozens of cases out in late 2020 and into 2021 - went into significant detail and concluded that parking operators (such as this Claimant) are seeking to circumvent CPR 27.14 as well as breaching the Consumer Rights Act 2015.   DJ Hickinbottom has recently struck more cases out in that court area, stating: ''I find that striking out this claim is the only appropriate manner in which the disapproval of the court can be shown''.

You never know how far you can go until you go too far.

Oh, don't delete yourself, that is a bit extreme.  You could follow up @KeithP's kind gesture by also sending an e-mail to the forum team and requesting a deletion of the picture only, leaving the text and your question.
