    Still, app for managing current account is slow. Perhaps on iOS it's fine. I wouldn't know
    Could well be that some of these issues only exist on Android - I wouldn't know as I am just using it on iOS.
  • I access my VM account via the Yorkshire Bank app (biometric access).

    I find it a lot slicker for some unknown reason.

    I only use android and it does what I want it to do.

    I tried to load a "new" secure message. The app went blank and then after about 60 seconds it indicated a new "statement". Shades of TSB.
    The dreadful way both online and the app reserves money to pay SOs the working day before they are paid resulting in a low or even negative balance is confusing.
    CYB need to urgently up their game if they are to be a competitive bank; a name change just won't do it.

    I nearly went down a rabbit hole trying to do something simple as move money from savings account to current account. Figured it out eventually.
