As for posting on a different page I don't no how I'm new to this site really!0

Just copy your original post and paste it into the thread I suggested. It may not help but I just thought it might be useful to get confirmation from the LR rep that the incorrect postcode is not a big deal.0
-
Its not a big deal in. normal circumstances however in this instance will take a few weeks extra resulting in 9000 stamp duty0
-
I meant not a big deal in as much as the LR rep may confirm that it's not necessary to change it before completion of your purchase.0

A huge number of registered titles aren't even going to have relevant post codes, because they're for bits of land which don't get post delivered to them. There's no magic conveyancing rule that the title needs to have the correct, or any, post code on it.2

Turns out it is an issue! Lendor won't release funds if postcode doesn't match the deed. Have appealed to have postcode changed0

Nowadays most lenders insist on a ‘perfect match’ re all information, including a post code. It happens quite a bit nowadays whilst historically, as others mention, it wasn’t an issue. Only the lender can explain whether it’s a process thing or a risk thing or both.If you’ve applied to have the register amended then just make sure your solicitor has expedited it. Ask them to check/confirm and to share the title number/case reference - DM if preferred and able to do so“Official Company Representative
