TALK TALK HELP!

I know this has been discussed a lot but I'm in a dispute with Talk Talk which has gotten completely out of hand. To explain, we were with Talk talk until September 2018 when the broadband was completely cut off, I work from home so I need constant internet access, after weeks of asking them to sort it they still did nothing about it and we were left with no income from me and I was unable to work, even though they said it was a fault with the line nothing was done about it, phone call after phone call and still nothing, we ended up having to go to a new provider which, according to talk talk, broke the terms of the agreement even though we were receiving nothing from them. We went with PlusNet and ended our contract with Talk Talk, only to receive a debt collection letter 1 year later for over £450, they said we had missed payments during this time, we have managed to get the debt down to £407 but they are still unable to provide proof of these missed payments, according to the keyboard monkeys they are not responsible for providing this evidence, but now we are at a point where debts are mounting massively and this is the only one I hate paying, simply because I lost out on months of work due to their incompetence and it left us with no choice but to move, they hit us with cancellation fees and god knows what else, they still refuse to provide us with any evidence of what we owe and I'm completely lost of where to take this now. I keep getting told to just pay it but 400 quid is a lot of money, especially as I do not believe we owe it, the debt is now through Lowell who refuses to work with us on any of this. Any advice would be appriciated. Thank you.

Debt at a guess its because you broke your TT contract .Balance of contract plus charges £450 .(I work from home so I need constant internet access )In that case you need a business contract with service level agreements. You require legal advice or your local Citizens Advice regarding debt.1

But you go through the complaints procedure and ask to terminate the contract .You don't just stop paying a valid contract .0

I'm a bit confused. The broadband you were contracted for had SLA's so wasn't it a B2B product? Was the debt in the businesses name?
