If you can obtain the bridging loan, obviously your wife would not transfer the money to her brother and co-exor until he had signed the documents transferring the property into her/your name?
He would have his money and you would have the property.
Is being able to own the family home enough compensation for (in effect) having to pay over the odds for it?

Hi. No, it’s not worth paying 30+K over the odds. It’s also just not worth the risk. He can’t be trusted at all, changes the goalposts weekly, had proven time and again his word means nothing and will knife you in the back without a seconds thought. The Mrs is in full agreement that we won’t tolerate anymore of his behaviour and he go nail himself.xylophone said:If you can obtain the bridging loan, obviously your wife would not transfer the money to her brother and co-exor until he had signed the documents transferring the property into her/your name?
