  • How on earth can they prove you didn't get another quote? They may have recorded the phone call in which you told them about your other 'quote', but unless they ask you for proof there and then in order to price match, there is no way that if in 6 months time after you have had eg. an accident, that they can say 'oh please can you show us that old Churchill quote you got 6 months ago'. As if people will hang onto old quotes,especially for products which they didn't buy in the end! You can't prove that you did get another quote - which doesn't really matter as they can't prove you didn't!

    Well done for getting such a good price... I always go to Confused.com and then see if the cheapest insurers on there are offering cashback on Quidco.
    I got £120 through Quidco with Lloyds last year, and £95 with Prudential this year.
