As [person X] has stated that I am no longer welcome to go to [event 1, event 2], I am hereby requesting a full refund of monies paid [amounts] by [date of first event]
Do not enter into any other discussion, or 'who said what' rubbish.
By giving them until the date of the first event, you come across as being very reasonable & allowing them time to find someone else to pay for the slot.

I booked 2 holidays this summer with some friends: a holiday to a cottage and a camping trip both costing me around £110 for the 2 but with fall outs in the group they are refusing to let me come or give me my money back.

If you believe they owe you the money and they refuse to refund, then send a Letter Before Action and if still no money, issue a claim through Money Claim OnLineIf you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales2

As they have chosen to prevent you from going, then they owe you a refund.
Assuming this has all been arranged in writing, on a group chat/email, & you are still in said group, then send a clear, no emotion, message like;2 -
They cancelled you, they owe you, in my opinion.Life is like a bath, the longer you are in it the more wrinkly you become.1

So what did you do that upset the rest of the party so much that you are now persona non grata? Sounds like something fairly serious to cause that reaction. They obviously think you are now toxic.

Some people are drama queens who'll throw a huge flouncy strop at the most minor of disagreements.2 -
I'm assuming that the cottage is an all in price regardless of how many are staying in it so those that are still going will still have to pay the full cost . It's hard to know without more information whether OP has done something that prevents them taking up the place.1

You could just go to the cottage. If the others then choose to leave, you get a quiet week away. 👿
In the scheme of things, this is a small loss compared to the end of the relationship.2
