Hi everyone
Just been having a catch up whilst eating my tea - curry and rice left from yesterday - it was a bit warm for curry really! I didn't wake till after 9 this morning, which is very unusual for me - I must have needed it. Cleaned the bathroom and pottered around a bit and then went to a cafe we like for lunch with DD and little one.
Little one said very politely ' I have macaroni cheese please' when we ordered. A few minutes later, when our drinks came - 'me said macaroni cheese!'
This afternoon I've alternated gardening and Sunday Times reading - my back garden is now looking neat and tidy. The front still needs cutting, but I sit at the back so would rather that was nice first.
Gers - it must have been nice to be back to your little cottage, hopefully it won't take you to long to get everything sorted in Glasgow.
ScarletRibbons - I think Bamburgh beach is the nicest on the Northumberland coast - it's always quieter than Seahouses. Well, it used to be - I haven't been for a long time. I once said hello to Robson Green in the queue at the fish and chip shop in Seahouses - he used to visit a lot. Mind that was a long time ago, when I briefly worked in a hotel there.
Well I'm going to wash my tea dishes and then I'm going to have another half hour till the sun disappears round the corner.

Did some repairs for Dd that had been waiting for quite a while. While sewing machine was on - tidied up the bottoms of a pair of Mr F's jeans.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45
