Samsung Galaxy A21s text problem.

Good Morning.
I received my new Samsung A21s yesterday. I used smart switch to transfer my data over from my Huawei PSmart  all has worked except the text messages which have split into two threads for each message. What I mean is that my side is in one thread and whoever I was texting is in a seperate thread. On my Huawei the conversation was one thread mine highlighted in a different colour. Is this correct on the Samsung? I am hoping not as it is really difficult to read them. Did I do something incorrectly? 
Any help would be very much welcomed.

On my Galaxy S10 my text messages for each individual person are in one long thread with the senders message in one colour and mine in another. I use dark mode so basically the background is dark grey with white text incoming and green background with white text outgoing.

Try sending some new messages to a friend on the Samsung and get them to reply. It could be just a glitch in the transfer process from your Huawei.
