Only a structural surveyor/engineer can tell you.
The roof above seem to be bowing down a bit - bit then that could be artefact from the wide angle lens.
For me I'd walk away, but I'm no expert.

If you can see a crack from that far away its time to be worried.
Is there also one above the green wheely bin?

I cant imagine that is going to be mortgageable, even if you are a cash buyer got to think of the re-sale.

Looks to me like the front may have been rebuilt. I have worked on jobs like this in terraced houses. The roof spreads and pushes the external wall out a bit. If one owner wants to get it rebuilt and next door doesn't you have to rebuild one plumb and tooth into next door's leaving theirs proud. It gets more noticeable at the top, as that's where the bowing out is the greatest.
It does look a bit odd, but you have to build the new wall plumb.

There also appears to be some cracking & displacement of the stones above the door of the property to the right. Something pretty serious is affecting all three houses, so unless everyone pitches in and fixes it, there is going to be a lifetime of trouble.
As an FTB, run away. This one is going to be a money pit that you can ill afford.

Treasure the moments that you have. Savour them for as long as you can for they will never come back again.
  • Thanks for the advice.  It is the top end of our budget and we will be max out on our mortgage, assuming we will get one when we actually apply.  We only have a MIP at the moment.

The stonework is certainly clean.  Streetview photo history may reveal more!

Top right looks particularly wide. Depends how much you like it. I wouldn’t touch it as there is obviously an issue here.
