in Water bills
I received a letter from Thames Water 3 &1/2 years after selling a property saying I owed over £200 as they had made an accounting error and it has just come to light!!. I paid all bills including final one to close the account. I called them to find out what the problem was and wax told loads of people have received same letter. Doesn't seem fair their mistake!. Has anyone else received such a letter.

Are you disputing that you owe the £200+?If not, as indicated in the useful link above, TW have 6 years to claim the money.0

Would you dispute it 3 years later if they said you had overpaid by £200?No free lunch, and no free laptop0
