Problems with SmartHubs since last week

Just had a look at that BT forum, shocking to see it so messed up, a mix of people begging for an update for the bodged April firmware followed by people complaining about the May update making things worse.
The Huawei 3 looks incredibly good value so let us know how you get on with it, not really one I would have recommended as I'd prefer a router with open source firmware that can be swapped for community versions and the ability to roll back to whatever version you choose but it does look great in terms of functionality and specification for the price.0 -
Lots of people in our village have jumped on the FTTP bandwagon with BT as soon as it came available earlier this year. Already I'm seeing comments on our local village FB group of issues with wifi. I suspect that their problems relate to this one !!0

It got the new firmware dumped on it this morning and its just as bad. had a shufti at the BT Customer Forum and there's 750 complaints about the Smart Hub 2 and five pages worth in the past week or so on this very subject. They have a lot of disgruntled customers.
My Huawei AX3 should be delivered on Wednesday0 -

I had no problems, decent speeds good coverage and everything worked as it should. The only things that work now are our laptops and tablets (on 5ghz). No printers (including my 3D printer which uses a Raspberry Pi to control it), no Sky Q, no cameras, no Kindle readers and my energy data logger wont communicate either.. Very annoying.
Never under estimate the power of stupid people in large numbers0
