Evening all,
I missed the bill hike window to leave my provider. I am paying £32.50 compared with new customers who pay £23.95 What can I do?

And pay more attention to websites/email that post news about these hikes. If you're still in contract, well its tough basically. Pay more attention next time.1 -
I can't understand why there isn' t a mass outcry against all communication companies jacking up their prices between 3.6-3.9% + inflation per annum.Apart from putting two fingers up to OFCOM by advertising and putting it into your contract terms and conditions, it negates the rule allowing you to leave your contract early without penalty. But also this will have an effect of increasing inflation year upon year.Whilst this may seem small there will be a gearing effect, and if they are applying the increase to business users who will also pass on their increased costs to their customers, inflation will skyrocket.I personally think this is tantamount to treason!1

( it negates the rule allowing you to leave your contract early without penalty.)But that Ofcom rule is only for in contract price rises that a customer did not know about pre contract .PS Ofcom have recently given the Ok for wholesalers to charge more .0

So it seems that rather than discouraging above inflation increases the rule has had response of making them obligatory.
P.S. I must apologise most providers seem to be advertising +CPI increases rather than +RPI now.0
