I got declined from nationwide last year after in September after having a Cifas marker cat 6 wrongfully placed on my name in March 2020, I challenged it and had the Cifas marker removed last week and my Cifas sar come back clean, if I apply for nationwide again will that be ok or will I most likely get declined again

My other half CIFAS and TSB declined her applucation. I challenged the CIFAS and it was removed. 6 months later she reapplied and it was accepted straight away.
So there is a chance.0 -

If Nationwide have previously said that the CIFAS was the only thing stopping you getting an account, and your circumstances are exactly the same as they were 12(ish) months ago then I don't see why they should decline you - all you can do is apply and see though. If rejected, I'd wait a few months before trying again.0

The CIFAS will remain on your credit files until the CRAs receive their monthly updates. You need to wait until it has fed through to the CRAs.0 -
Cat 6 don’t show up on your credit file, it was never on there in the first place as I pass the credit checks and the accounts get opened then a few days later they get closedEd-1 said:

Well surely I wouldn’t pass the credit check in the first place if that’s the case? But I do pass the first credit check it’s after a few days when they go through security checks it gets closedEd-1 said:
