Advice needed please on error on my Vodafone account
Help! I renewed in my contract in April when I was offered 100 free anytime minutes and 100 free texts for £10 a month on a 12 month contract. However, because of family things I never got round to checking my account on line. Big mistake.
I finally checked in October where I discovered that instead of paying £10 as promised, I was paying on average £35 a month as they were charging me full price line rental AND for my texts. I wrote to Vodafone in October pointing out the error they responded with a standard letter and giving me £20 credit to say sorry for overcharging me - this went to where near the £122 I had overpaid. I then wrote again pointing this out and asking for corrections to be made to my account. I have not had any response to the second letter which I sent well over a month ago.
I checked my account today and I seem to have been credited with £122, my line rental seems to have come down but I am still being charged for my texts. I tried ringing them today but got cut off twice.
What can I do next? If they havent honoured what I originally negotiated and don't seem to be in any hurry to put it right where do I stand?
I am now really fed up with Vodafone and their lack of support and customer assistance. As far as I am aware, the deal I negotiated was for 12 months so will run out in April so I am not sure I can leave yet can I?
Thank you for some advice.
Angela.

Hi Angela,
Really sory for the problems you seem to have had since setting this up, it sounds like some steps were eventually taken to put this right but you're still being charged for texts. This could be as simple as not having the free of charge text bundle added which we can sort out. I can check this out for you and make sure everything has been put right if you like.
If you send me an e-mail using the Vodafone online contact us form here, include the code FIT135 somewhere in the body of the e-mail and it will be routed to us here in the forum team. Remember to give all of the details that the form asks for so that we can check these against your account first for security and data protection.
