Hi all
I moved ISP last Year , the deal was 3 months free broadband plus A £40 credit was made to the account due to problems with the account switch. We are now 7 months into 2 Year contract and every month I get a bill showing £140 credit and amount due £0
Now whilst Im not complaining about getting free internet , Im also aware that someone one day might just notice the fact Ive not been paying anything. How far can they back charge?
I know when Plusnet had billing issues the other year , they were only backcharging 3 months - is this all they can charge? or should I be ready for a large bill some time in the future?

In theory you can be backcharged to the beginning of the contract/deal, so if the deal was for three months free broadband and this is now the seven month, then in theory four months will be owed.Best thing to do would be to phone them up and point the issue out. Plusnet have had billing system issues ongoing for at least the last two or three years and its been obvious for a while now they either can't or won't do anything about it.0
