I was with Eon and switched to S hell. I gave both companies the changeover meter reading. Eon handed on to shell a vastly inflated (over 2.5 times my usage) fictitious reading. If you switch suppliers and give "final" readings to the supplier that you are leaving, that supplier is obliged by regulations to ignore them!
