Water Damage Compensation

Hi
I am hoping I am putting this in the right section.
A few months ago there was a burst water pipe on the road outside our home. This caused some flood damage to our gardens, our newly laid patio and also some fencing. Obviously because it was outside of the boundaries of our home we weren't responsible and Anglian Water dealt with the physical repair of the pipe. Now the flood caused some damage to our garden, newly laid patio and also some other bits and pieces.
After a few weeks of negotiating with Anglain Waters Insurers we have come to what we believe is fair compensation to help us deal with the issues caused. So all good. But we agreed on the amount 3 weeks ago and we are still waiting for payment. Now I didn't expect them to pay particularly quickly but I would have thought 3 weeks would have been ample time to organise what is in essence a simple bank transfer. I have wrong the insurer a couple of times and they simply tell me they will chase their finance department up.
Does anybody have any tips I could use to try and speed this process up? I'm just getting the feeling I'm getting fobbed off by them at the moment and I just want to put this issue to bed now.
TIA
