Most countries require 14 days past your second jab, as said above. Any chance of moving that second appointment forward. Current guidance is at least 8 weeks between jabs.
Isn't that just for over 50s and clinically vulnerable?

No, my son in law has had his 2nd vaccine brought forward and he's ony 30 and not vulnerable. My daughter is 20 and also had hers brought forward by 3 weeks, although she does has Autism.
Has had?  As in someone has brought forward the vaccine for him?  Is he in England?

I believe that vaccination has only just opened for 34 year olds in England as of yesterday. I've just talked to my sister who is 34 and today booked her first jab for May 30th and could only book the second dose for a minimum 11 weeks (15th Aug)from then.

I can only find reference to the gap being shortened for over 50s and the clinically vulnerable so wouldn't expect that I can cancel my second dose booking and bring it forward.

He was contacted by his GP 2 days ago telling him his new appointment date and time, which is next Friday. Yes, he's in England. No, he's not vulnerable.

Had a text from GP on Monday  to ring for phone appt call about blood tests which I had on Thursday

Checked the NHS app and all results were on there.

Based on my figures and thyroid FB groups I belong to- it’s only one thing it could be - Hashimoto’s.

England. Mass vaccination centres have been told to allow walk ins for anyone 8 weeks past their first vaccine. I’ve also seen people report that they can book this online. Also some people have had messages cancelling booked appointments and told to rebook earlier dates. This is mainly because mass vac centres are moving from AZ to Pfizer, so won’t be doing AZ at the time of the original booking.
it’s a combined strategy, to give people that extra boost earlier, in the hope of defeating the Indian variant and to put mass vac centres in a position to be doing Pfizer to cater for the younger cohort who are eligible and becoming eligible for their first vaccines.
In a 3rd move that will help with the vaccine programme, Pfizer can now be stored in a fridge for up to 31 days, which means that pharmacies can now start offering it.

A 2nd Pfizer jab can be administered 3 weeks after the first, a 2nd AZ can be 8 weeks after the first but a 11 weeks was being used for both to speed up the roll out of first doses.

As AZ is no longer the preferred option for under 40s and pregnant women, most of those requiring a 1st dose still won't be given AZ meaning if there's spare AZ then 2nd doses will be brought forward. Anyone under 40 who got vaccinated early may have got AZ before that decision was made.

Are you concerned that your passport is scanned multiple times when you go on holiday and that in many countries the hotel are legally required to take a photocopy of your passport, which may or may not be passed on to the local police force?

I have actually seen the police turning up at a hotel in Italy and asking for the photocopies of foreign tourists' passports. In some former communist countries the hotels automatically pass copies of everyone's IDs to the local police force.

At GP led vaccination clinics you aren't always asked to book a 2nd appointment at the same time as the 1st, as they don't know how much supply they'll have in 11 weeks time.

I was invited to book with a GP led vaccination clinic 5 days before the national system opened to my age group but the 1st available appointment was 6 days away so I didn't get vaccinated early but it's possible some people the same age at me got early vaccination. I also understand my GP partnership were taking the contact numbers for 5 ages e.g. 35-39 and then splitting them randomly in to batches, rather than doing 38-39 one day, then 36-37 another.
