No, my son in law has had his 2nd vaccine brought forward and he's ony 30 and not vulnerable. My daughter is 20 and also had hers brought forward by 3 weeks, although she does has Autism.
I believe that vaccination has only just opened for 34 year olds in England as of yesterday. I've just talked to my sister who is 34 and today booked her first jab for May 30th and could only book the second dose for a minimum 11 weeks (15th Aug)from then.
I can only find reference to the gap being shortened for over 50s and the clinically vulnerable so wouldn't expect that I can cancel my second dose booking and bring it forward.0 -

He was contacted by his GP 2 days ago telling him his new appointment date and time, which is next Friday. Yes, he's in England. No, he's not vulnerable.

it’s a combined strategy, to give people that extra boost earlier, in the hope of defeating the Indian variant and to put mass vac centres in a position to be doing Pfizer to cater for the younger cohort who are eligible and becoming eligible for their first vaccines.
In a 3rd move that will help with the vaccine programme, Pfizer can now be stored in a fridge for up to 31 days, which means that pharmacies can now start offering it.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Given the possibilities for criminal data capture, Isn’t anyone concerned about the requirement to provide photo ID in order to get full access on NHS app?0

As AZ is no longer the preferred option for under 40s and pregnant women, most of those requiring a 1st dose still won't be given AZ meaning if there's spare AZ then 2nd doses will be brought forward. Anyone under 40 who got vaccinated early may have got AZ before that decision was made.0 -

I have actually seen the police turning up at a hotel in Italy and asking for the photocopies of foreign tourists' passports. In some former communist countries the hotels automatically pass copies of everyone's IDs to the local police force.0 -

I was invited to book with a GP led vaccination clinic 5 days before the national system opened to my age group but the 1st available appointment was 6 days away so I didn't get vaccinated early but it's possible some people the same age at me got early vaccination. I also understand my GP partnership were taking the contact numbers for 5 ages e.g. 35-39 and then splitting them randomly in to batches, rather than doing 38-39 one day, then 36-37 another.1
